crushedToday I was looking online to find clips of the MJ tribute and stumbled across verious forums and most of them consisted of race rows and general nasty racist comments. So this prompted me to write on twitter and to write on Facebook, here it is:
my status;Who would have thought Micheal Jackson's death and the BET awards would bring out all the racist omments ive been hearing....America you are still so racist, FGS its 2009 now!!!

if black ppl can have a BET awards then why cant white ppl have a WET awards....but the reason why black ppl had to go and make things like MOBOs and BET awards is because black ppl are not recognised in mainstream productions eg. vh1 awards, mtv, oscars, grammys even on tv stations eg fox, and the 1s i said above ect. even in the uk....why is it ... Read morewhen a film comes on that is black dominated it comes on at stupid times on night eg "house party" on bbc2 showing at 3am ect. Or why is it when a black dominated comedy or show eg "everybody hates chris" comes on then the channel cuts it mid season? friday gets a blye because it has a mixed cast there fore is shown on channel 5 at 9pm usually. oscars, grammys only in recent years have given awards to black actors/ess. So black ppl got tired of not being recognised for there talents and made a station that does aswell as other races of ppl but specialise in black ppl.
I am NOT a racist but these are issues that STILL to this day happen. I dont like the fact that ppl need to separate to find comfort coming together is the way or this whole segregation thing will keep happening long after we have gone and our childrens children have gone!!! Jo i completly understand wot ur saying n its hard 4 me 2 comment as i havent experienced racism directly so only playing devils advocate but do u think by segragating stuff by havin smethin called black music awards mkes it worse? x

It was a major acheivment for Hallie berry and cant remember who to get a oscar for best actress, not supporting or bit part. do you know the only black person to get a oscar before then was sidney poitier and that was decades ago. Look at the music industry...why do you think theres a MOTOWN? because mainstream radio stations refused to play black sound and some tv stations refused to have black ppl on there stations because

ok how many black/asian/turkish ect actors/ess singers there are!!! do you mean to say through generations no black person or other minority has had outstanding acting or singing?....ppl need to open there eyes and see that racism is still out there loud and clear...just more undercover, and im not liking it. see my fam, me and son...we were tought the right way...love 1 another and treat everybody as equals. THERE IS NO RACE BETTER THEN THE OTHER!!!!
